Tutorial

Just straight tutorial [lazy to write too long :laugh: ]

Update : I wouldn’t recommend using free vpn server, due recent mass ban on some Game on Japan Server *Not limited to Elsword only*. So becarefull about it

It’s up to you how you can get any Japan VPN, but I will point free and paid service

Yep I’m kindly enough to upload Elsword Japan client that you can use after initializing the installer from Elsword Japan web plugin
Patched, Packed, Uploaded, and QCed by Kurisutaru ~

Just login @ Elsword Hangame > Install Plugin > Start Game > Waiting until installer were downloaded > Specify path > When patcher start downloading files just cancel > Extract files from archive > Start Game > Viola you got latest version
Note : I will update the base client every major patch but i wont keep it as promise.

FAQ . . . たぶん

Things that you DO/N’T IT at Elsword Japan

1. PVP : Ping yourself to Google.co.jp see your latency when connected on VPN, if higher than 150ms please dont force to Arena just for !@#$ sake. Beware Elsword Japan got official Twitter Arena for reporting any player that abusing [Lag/Farming]
2. Language : Dont be dumb, we already crossing the line from IP Country Restriction, so dont !@#$ to chat in public beside Japanese Language. Dont know Japanese Language ? Just shut up.
3. Dungeon : Be nice with random party people with say よろ/よろしく/よろです/よろしくお願いします in the dungeon start and おつ/おつかれ/おつかれさま/おつかれさまでした at end of Dungeon. Cant write it ? Keep silent or just shut up. I saw some Foreigner Player [English] idiot for saying Hello when dungeon start and Thx at dungeon end. I dont know If Hangame privacy policy and agreement that allowed language beside Japanese, but In Elsword Korea you would got banned for sure.
~ Additional ~
Do
1. Love Me <3
2. Be Nice with any player [Like say what I write on point number 3 above, usually keep quiet just OK, but better you learn a simple greetings like よろしく or おつかれ would be great]
3. Keep Low profile and dont make unnecessary attention
4. Install Japanese IME [Optional but recommended for looking item on Market Board]
Don’t
1. Hate Me </3
2. PVP [150ms] or Dungeon Party Search [200ms] f you’re got high Latency [more than that were unacceptable !] [Because I got once that a Japanese player ask the party who’s the lagger, that time was Me :laugh: ]
3. Chat your language on public, Japanese Language is a Must for Speaking on Public [Unless they know your language, keep it PM / Whipser] [I hear a story that some Japanese people that really really hate foreigner on PSO2]
Personal Note : Please dont do anything stupid on Elsword Japan, We already have a chance to play at wonderful server, so if you not serious playing at this server just leave this server alone !

Things that I Don’t know until now at Elsword Japan

1. How to Recharge Hancoin :laugh: If anyone know, please tell me. Need those B Slot :laugh: Seems impossible unless you ask Japanese Player to send via gift to you

CURRENT ISSUE – IP Address Security Lock

Just a tips, better you don’t change your IP too much since it can trigger Account Security Lock
As far as I can understand with their Customer Service, there was a System that automatically lock your account based on Unfarmiliar IP Address (Especially that you dont have any long-term-VPN)

[Expired] PERMANENT BAN TRADE

Some of My Guildmate got permanent Ban Trade [New Character Ban trade already expired], simply they can trade / search board / enter market. I already open support ticket with errrr somewhat google-translated Japanese (sorry but I just know the basic grammar fundamental) and still no reply from Hangame.
If you know something about this please comment at this page with Opening “[HOT] CURRENT ISSUE – PERMANENT BAN TRADE” Any help will be useful for anyone that play at Elsword Japan [Since KR already moving to cleaning non-Korean People play there]
*Not sure If this one permanent or not
Trade / Market Lock already issued by Hangame, If your ID still got Trade / Market lock please send support inquiry on Hangame Inquiry page !
Update : WATCH-OUT TRADE / MARKET LOCK STILL EXIST, seems they filter by IP Address !
Update : I already got explanation from Hangame Customer Service, they said there is a bug on their system that prevent player from trade / market / search board. The suggestion from Hangame Customer Service just wait. Dunno if they got Market Revamp @ 12 March, [since they already posted here something about premium service shop that changed to 15 Slot *like a Market Revamp right ?*].
Since I got the lock too on 26 Feb 2014 Maintenance

      Web proxy ga bisa dipake buat Elsword, kalaupun bisa cuma di web nya aja lewat. Client nya jg perlu IP JP saat launch

    Hello Kurisutru, I’ve ran into a problem while trying to access JP servers.
    After starting the game through hangame, the game just grey screen and doesn’t respond. I’m not sure what I’m missing or doing wrong considering I have a JP VPN (Tunnelbear), have 100ms ping to google.co.jp, and I can run US Elsword just fine.

      Basically that IP not passed for Japan IP Verification

      They very picky with IP filtering, if you want to play Elsword Japan better you rent vps (on Conoha like my server) then setup vpn there. And you will be guaranteed to play on Elsword Japan.

    Hm… I got the one you suggested known as ExpressVPN. The game did load this time, however I only got as far as this:

    “Moving to loading window” Is what I’m pretty sure it says.
    Following this message box popping up the game window disappears. Most likely crashing since I can’t find it in task manager anywhere.
    So uh… Is this VPN not working either or something?

      I didn’t suggest ExpressVPN, just hear from other people.

      Try to get different IP and try again, mine was VPS hosted by Japanese Company (Conoha.jp) but yeah you need to know how to manage the server and setup the vpn

    hello… i installed jp elsword by myself (used hola vpn browser, made an account on nexon, installed elsword and used the vpn you recommended to play) but only elsword.exe opens, x2.exe doesn’t want to open at all, any sugestions? :(
