For your Elesis pack it crashes the game, which kom file I should tweak to fix this? (I fixed 149 and 150 for add release however in addition of Asura voice not coming out or because CA still farway from INA I really need your suggestion) thx in advance

If you haven’t repack it of course its un-useable
145 for Elesis, no matter if the voice have CA as long as you include those dumb .txt from net barbel its should work

in the original data file i have a kom file with .tmp extension will it affect anything??? (so far I don’t find any when using original voice, I’m just making sure tho :3) is it the one ended with .kuri extension btw? (aaa.txt.xxxx.kuri) should I Delete it or what?

.kuri extension = encrypted file. *read again on Kurisutaru’s Elsword KOM Utility Page*
It not processed by Kurisutaru’s Elsword KOM Utility since unknown method to decompress those file aka raw file leave as it *dont delete those the file that make a corrupted loading kom lol*.
For .tmp dunno I never saw any .tmp file for Elsword IDN, afaik only .ogg and .txt by net barbel

I’ve unpack the data one sad thing… I forgot what did I do with the 149 150 when ADD release to fix it… should I just merge all the voice into one KOM or what I’m totally clueless (sorry about this :( )

For usual or general rule of Voice KOM
1. Always paired
2. First one always tutorial voice. Second one always character voice
But incase of Netbarbel, those lol publisher doing merge the tutorial voice to character voice.
So if you want to repack always do like this
Example of Elesis Repack
Elesis Tutorial Voice : 144
Elesis Character Voice : 145
1. Unpack Elesis IDN 145
2. Unpack Elesis JP 145
3. [Optional] Unpack Elesis JP 144
4. Merge aka Replace all things inside Elesis JP 145 [+ Elesis JP 144 if you do] to Elesis IDN 145
5. Repack and use it
Note : Do unpack IDN and JP file separate folder, since same name = replaced
For Add should be 149 and 150

You can do that, but I prefer JP to IDN. Reason ? Elsword IDN got more file than JP one so it more ‘fail-save’

From numerous videos on youtube some time ago I heard that voice modding is dead and you can only replace voices of one localization with the voices of another.. is that true? Sorry if this appears old, I just haven’t played the game for 2 years and want to return.

The tools [Els_KOM.exe] were dead, KOG change their new mechanism of KOM files so you need newer Un/Packer
Like Python KOM Un/Packer or Mine [Kurisutaru’s Elsword KOM Utility]
I haven’t try for voice one but for UI one that I use mine packer were working, try and report to here then if you interest

Usually those x2.exe generate some file that i still dunno where they place about replaced KOM during the execution time.
And when patcher look those file but you already restore the official one, patcher only checking those pointed by x2.exe
