That being said, I’ve had a problem lately with this, for some reason during the Launcher and the Data loader, it has been taking a abnormally long time to load (I recall ever since I turned off my PC and forgot to Restore afterwards).
How could I fix it? You have a idea of what that could be?

When use [Change] ? Its depend on your HDD/SSD and Processor usage since it’s using windows copy + paste function
Try to check if there is running program on background that hogging your pc

It happens as soon as I try to Launch Elsword, even before attempting the post-loading “Change”, all the “Client Updating” takes incredibly long to happen, somehow it looks like I’ve used Save and Change even before trying to launch Elsword, and it takes just a tiny bit less time, but is still a enormous time to Update.
About the PC, I don’t think it is because of programs running, I always make sure no programs are running besides it.
I tried re-downloading the Voice Files and even re-downloading the Elsword’s “Original” Data files, but no change.

make sure you click on change right after elsword update screen is gone, cuz if gameguard is already running it wont let any file to be replaced

also, is “normal” that takes so long cuz the launcher is checking each file integrity (probably hash check) so it takes a while on middle-low speed HDD, try to hash each file manualy and you will see the time it takes, you can use a “bypass elsword launcher” (google it) so you dont need to run it outside maintenance times

Try to run as admin first if those resolve the responsiveness
Since it use native windows function so more like the problem does the windows itself
Also you mean the long things to check was the Official Elsword Patcher [Elsword.exe] ? If so, dunno about that. Must ask KOG wth they do with the patcher

How safe is this to use? Considering I’m getting an error message when I log into my character, I’m wondering if this error message gets recorded somewhere, that would be very worrisome. I can log into my characters just fine, but it gives me that “Error.” popup and disappears once I load into the game.
I’m using it on one of the european servers.

Never seen that error, if the error sound like ‘you have corrupted kom and game will be slow or unstable whatever’ safe to ignore
If you worry about it
1. Try to using it on dummy account
2. Not use it

Hey!
The error message says “Error.” in the respective language of my client. Nothing more. Nothing about corrupted files or anything like that! I used it once on my main account, but decided to not use it again, simply because I’m under surveillance (sort of) and if this gets displayed in some kind of logs and happens more than once, I’m scared that I might get banned.
I’m sorry for asking such a strange question. I don’t think you could possibly know if this gets logged or not, as you are neither a Gameguard developer, nor are you working for any Elsword version, so you cannot know orz
Nonetheless, thank you very much for your reply! In the end, my love for my account and the game is stronger than the wish to play with proper voice overs, instead of the ear-grating western ones. >_<

Yo, I followed the instructions but there’s a problem. After the gameguard screen closes i clicked change but after a couple of seconds it gives me more than three data kom errors and “finally kom loading failed”. I tried it again and waited for 2 or 3 minutes then it worked, but the connecting the server phase (the phase after login and before the character selection menu) takes so long (but i forget how much time i spent) when i thought is error or something i had close it with task manager. Is the loading time more than 5 minutes, is it an error, or something else?

You got it wrong at this section “After the gameguard screen”, its must be before gameguard or after patcher close
if you change after gameguard close, the data parse will be mismatch like you said *error popup*

I dont believe it works on VoidEls, due they tampering something on the client that if you change the file will be throw an error

Don’t mod the characters who have no Transcendence lines yet (Els, Raven, Rena, Add). But there’s one time when I can mod their voice. Elsword works in mysterious ways.

Update your voice pack, also not all character already released
for LuCiel and Elesis its fully released, if some of them dont have sound that mean Elsword Japan don’t include that sound
